VigLink

About VigLink

VigLink was an affiliate link monetization service that automatically turned ordinary links to online stores into affiliate links. In 2018 VigLink was acquired by Sovrn, and the service continues as Sovrn Commerce.

How it works:
A publisher adds a JavaScript code to the website. When a visitor clicks a link to a participating merchant, such as an online retailer, the script adds affiliate tracking. If the visitor buys something, the publisher earns a commission without signing up to each affiliate program separately.

Key features:
Automatic affiliation of existing outbound links.
Optional link insertion: turning product names in text into affiliate links.
Access to thousands of merchants and affiliate networks through one account.
Reports on clicks and earnings.

VigLink is common on blogs, forums, review sites and community websites that link to products.
