The New HypeStat: A Fresh Design and Deeper Website Insights
Oct 22, 2026

HypeStat has a new look. Over the past few months we rebuilt the site from the ground up: a new design, faster pages, and a lot of new data on every website profile. Here is what changed and where to find it.
A Cleaner, Faster Design
Every page now uses the same simple card layout in a dark theme that is easy on the eyes. Website profiles have a side menu that shows where you are on the page, so you can jump straight to traffic, technologies, hosting or security. The site works much better on phones: cards, tables and charts fit the screen, and the search box is always one tap away. We also replaced old images with lightweight SVG icons, so pages load faster.
New Data on Every Website Profile
When you open a website on HypeStat, you will now see several new sections:
- Security Headers – a grade from A to F based on six important HTTP security headers, plus who issued the SSL certificate and when it expires.
- Email Security – whether the domain has SPF, DMARC and DKIM records, which email provider handles its mail, and whether DNSSEC is enabled.
- AI Crawlers – which AI bots (such as GPTBot or ClaudeBot) the site allows or blocks in its robots.txt, and whether it publishes an llms.txt file.
- Ad Networks – the advertising partners listed in the site's ads.txt file.
- Website Age – the first date the site was archived on the Wayback Machine.
- Redirects – if a domain simply forwards visitors to another site, we now say so and link to the real destination.
The Real Host Behind Cloudflare and Other CDNs
Many websites sit behind Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai or a similar service. In the past this made it look as if the site was "hosted" by the CDN. HypeStat now recognizes these services, labels them as a CDN or proxy, and where possible shows the real hosting company behind them. In the Top Hosters list, CDN and proxy providers are clearly marked, so the ranking of actual hosting companies is easier to read.
Technologies and Hosting Companies
Each technology now has its own page with a short description, its category and the top websites that use it. Technology categories, such as web frameworks, analytics or advertising, are easier to browse. Hosting company pages have descriptions, website links and screenshots, and they list the most valuable sites hosted on each network.
Watch the Analysis Happen
When you check a new website or click Update Now, you can now follow the analysis step by step: crawling the site, reading DNS and SSL, detecting technologies and more. The analysis itself is also faster.
Compare, My IP and More
The Compare page shows two websites side by side in the new layout. The My IP page shows your public IP address with a one-click copy button, your browser's user agent and details about your network. The new Explore menu at the top leads to Top Hosters, recently analyzed sites, and the lists of websites flagged for bad ad or abusive experiences.
What's Next
We are already working on the next step: user accounts, so you can follow the websites you care about, and an API for developers. If you have an idea or notice something that does not look right, please contact us. We read every message.
Thank you for using HypeStat!
