Die Succow Stiftung engagiert sich für Moor- und Klimaschutz, Wiedervernässungen, Biosphärenreservate und Schutzgebiete sowie nachhaltige Landnutzung vor Ort in Greifswald 7 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und weltweit. Der Biologe Michael Succow gründete sie 1999 mit dem Preisgeld seines Right Livelihood Awards, auch Alternativer Nobelpreis.
