About Chartbeat

Chartbeat is a real-time content analytics platform for publishers and media organizations, founded in 2009 in New York. It shows newsrooms what readers are doing on their websites at the moment, with a focus on engagement and attention rather than only page views.

Key features:
Real-time dashboard: concurrent readers, top articles and traffic sources second by second.
Engaged time: how long readers actually spend reading, not just visiting.
Headline testing: A/B tests of different headlines and images.
Loyalty and audience reports: new, returning and loyal readers.
Historical reports and content performance analysis.
Integrations with content management systems and Google AMP.

Chartbeat is used by newspapers, magazines, broadcasters and digital media companies around the world to make editorial decisions based on reader behavior.
