"Casa Contenta" translates to the happy house because of its cool Palm Springs vibe and location in Vista Las Palmas and adjacent to Old Las Palmas and Little Tuscany. Enjoy the Palm Springs lifestyle in this welcoming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home built in 1956 with a clean and well-planned 2159 sqft floorplan which includes a separate Casita or living space with bathroom and kitchenette. Begin with the curb appeal and the way the walled and double-gated front facade is adorned with desert-scape and palm trees. While the gate opens, you drive in and rest your vehicle in either the two-car garage, gated and private carport, or step out of the vehicle that you park in the half-moon driveway that fits 4 vehicles. In total, about 8 vehicles have off-street parking and privacy.  That is just parking! Enter the main home to an expansive and open concept living room with two large sliding glass doors, making a seamless separation to the pool and outdoor area.  The living room is adorned with a stacked stone fireplace, wall bar area with wine fridge, and plantation shutters.  If cooking is your thing, then step into the kitchen with granite counters, deep sink, plenty of cabinet space, and a convenient pass-through for sharing prepared cocktails to your outdoor guests. When you are ready to rest for the night, the master suite has large closet spaces, a large shoe closet for your many choices, and a master bathroom equipt with soaking tub and separate shower.  If you like to save energy, there is also a separate split unit to keep the bedroom super cool while not cooling the entire home. When thinking about outdoor space, while enjoying the Palm Springs lifestyle, it is important to have a mountain view, a saltwater pool and spa, citrus trees, some grassy area, desert-scape, privacy walls, BBQ area, and some outdoor activities.  Plenty of shade and shaded areas to enjoy sitting outside during all times of the year. This home checks off all those boxes. How about guests? The casita with high beamed ceilings, large windows, sink and counter area, bathroom, closet, and its own private entrance and parking. Perfect for your guests you say? Yes. All this and more make the home perfect for many uses! Possible Uses:  Vacation Rental - Because of its location and the private gated drive for additional vehicles, floor plan, outdoor space, views, and overall function, this home could generate an attractive income as a short-term rental. Primary Residence - The 2 bedroom house and the Casita have just the right layout so that you could live in the home, and still have guests stay in the Casita for a short or extended period of time. Secondary Oasis - The easy access to freeways and airports, makes this home a great candidate for a secondary home or weekend getaway. Its relatively close proximity to many California cities makes this ideal. Event Space - This home has been used for several events and weddings. Due to the spacious outdoor space and nearby parking areas, this home has the potential of generating ancillary income.
