i'm timmy c pitschka and welcome to my photography website. i credit my dad for getting me started in photography. he demonstrated a keen eye for color and composition and had this beautiful fully manual Minolta 35mm kicking around the house that i was completely intrigued with. all the numbers and dials, the snap of the shutter and the velvety feel of the focus ring on its 50mm 1.4f had me begging to shoot and understand what it all meant. i had to wait until i was 7 or 8 before he let me "drive" and i remember shooting birds and cars with Kodachrome 64. my first rolls back were blurry and terribly exposed, but i was determined to learn and make a decent image! these days, i just about always have a digital camera with me and enjoy shooting in natural light, finding small details that others have passed by and capturing interesting oddities in towns and cities i visit. all photographs on this site are copyright protected, but are for sale. please give me a call or drop me an email if you are interested in purchasing an image for web use or printed for display. enjoy and thanks for visiting, -t
