Ranchers raise cattle, pork, and poultry. This area offers an abundance of water, with approximately 40 inches of precipitation each year. The rolling terrain lends itself to capture of rainfall, encouraging private lakes and ponds throughout the countryside. A large variety of trees dot the land. This provides a lush, green, and attractive landscape. Our area is home to a large Amish community. Their bulk stores, greenhouses, furniture shops, and other services are available to the public.
