Title:Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia – Sumatera Utara – Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia – Sumatera Utara Description:Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup (KLH) menggugat perdata enam perusahaan atas dugaan  yang menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan hidup masif di Sumatera Utara (Sumut), terutama di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara (Taput), Tapanuli Tengah (Tapteng), dan Tapanuli Selatan (Tapsel) yang terdampak banjir dan longsor, akhir November 2025. Fokus utama pada Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Garoga dan Batang Toru. Masyarakat Sipil pun ingatkan pemulihan lingkungan. Gugatan itu secara serentak KLH daftarkan melalui Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Kota Medan untuk dua perusahaan, satu perusahaan di PN Jakarta Pusat, lalu tiga di PN Jakarta Selatan. Keenam perusahaan itu, yakni PT Agincourt Resources (AR), PT Toba Pulp Lestari (TPL), PT Multi Sibolga Timber (MST), PTPN III Batang Toru Estate, PT North Sumatera Hydro Energy (NSHE/PLTA Batang Toru), dan PT Tri Bahtera Srikandi (TBS). Dari hasil pengawasan lapangan dan kajian teknis mendalam, aktivitas keenam perusahaan itu mengakibatkan kerusakan lingkungan hidup seluas  2.516,39 hektar. KLH melayangkan nilai gugatan  Rp4, 843 triliun. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Menteri Lingkungan Hidup, mengatakan, kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi membawa dampak besar bagi masyarakat. Fungsi lingkungan hidup yang hilang, mata pencaharian terputus, dan rasa aman terganggu akibat ancaman bencana ekologis. “Negara tidak boleh diam ketika lingkungan rusak dan rakyat harus menanggung akibatnya sendirian,” katanya dalam pernyataan resminya. Nilai gugatan itu, katanya, mencakup komponen kerugian lingkungan hidup Rp4,657 triliun dan biaya pemulihan ekosistem Rp178, 481 miliar. “Langkah ini merupakan bentuk nyata komitmen KLH dalam menegakkan keadilan ekologis dan prinsip penegakan hukum tanpa tebang pilih.” Menurut dia, gugatan ini berdasarkan fakta lapangan dan analisis dari para pakar.
