The Bethel Historical Society provides visitors with a doorway to the past at its Regional History Center campus, consisting of the 1821 O'Neil Robinson House and the 1813 Dr. Moses Mason House properties, both listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Society's museum and library collections include a wide range of materials do enting the heritage of northern New England, with major concentrations devoted to the history of western Maine and the White Mountains. The Society also provides lectures, conferences, craft demonstrations, special events, and educational activities for members and the general public throughout the year.
