It is aimed at promoting and supporting social justice, rule of law, separation of power, good governance, equally, fight against corruption in Cameroon. It provides youth initiatives and opportunities to make meaningful contribution to the progress of Cameroon. At the core of PICAM’s work is the need to build a strong civil society on the belief that this is critical for the transformation needed in Cameroon. PICAM recognizes that respect for human rights is a vital part of human contentment; that democratic parti***tion is an inseparable value of good and accountable governance; that peace and stability are integral elements of human interaction; that development through active parti***tion is necessary to bring meaningful improvement in the lives of people; and that humanitarian istance is an invaluable means to reach those who are economically and socially outside the reach of mainstream services and support - such as the poor, orphans, the sick, the disabled, street children, rural po***tions, and other vulnerable or marginalized groups. PICAM stands for Progressive Initiative for Cameroon. PICAM was founded by Eric Ngonji Njungwe. It also provides blogging on Cameroon Connection.
