Coremine Medical is a domain-specific search engine for medical information. It is based on a new search concept that offers the user domain-specific networks. The networks illustrate connections between a search term and related concepts, e.g. diseases, , natural medicines, treatments and side-effects, found from medical literature databases. The user may interactively navigate the networks and can also access an additional list of hits containing related do***ents from other sources. We divide between primary data sources used for generating the networks, and secondary data sources used for generating hits linked to a term or a relationship in the network.
