The Electronic Scholarly Publishing Project is dedicated to the electronic publishing of scientific and other scholarly materials. Of particular interest are the history of science, genetics, com***tional biology, and genome research.
The Electronic Scholarly Publishing Project produces tools to facilitate online scholarly communication, and the ESP staff produces content related to several collections including classical genetics, evolutionary biology, the philosophy of science, biomedical informatics, and American literature. The ultimate goal of the ESP project is to provide an environment for electronic scholarly publications, so that others may also undertake projects at this site. The technical infrastructure for the site allows extensions to be made straightforwardly, so that adding new topic projects requires little more work than that necessary to produce and describe the do***ents themselves.
