Ανω Σταροχώρι (Λαλούση), Κάτω Σταροχώρι (Ζώγας), Δαφνούλα, Τρούσα,Τρουσάκι,Κακαβουλέικα, Κοτσοκολέικα
Αξίζει να δείτε:
Tον Προϊστορικό Τύμβο στη θέση Αϊ-Γιάννης, τα Λείψανα Αρχαίου Κτιρίου στο κτήμα Σκέντζου, τα όμορφα πέτρινα σπίτια και το πέτρινο σχολείο.
Το χωριό Σταροχώρι βρίσκεται στη νότια όχθη του ποταμού Πείρου, στην περιοχή των Φαρών, σε απόσταση 2,5 περίπου χιλιομέτρων νοτιοανατολικά του χωριού Πρέβεδος (όπου έγιναν ανακαλύψεις πιθανώς σχετιζόμενες με την αρχαία πόλη των Φαρών). Γύρω από το χωριό υπάρχουν χαμηλοί λόφοι. Η θέση και ευρύτερη περιοχή του Σταροχωρίου έφεραν στο φως στοιχεία κατοίκησης από τους προϊστορικούς χρόνους έως και την ύστερη αρχαιότητα.
Η ΙΣΤΟΡΙΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΡΕΥΝΑΣ ΚΑΙ Η ΣΥΜΒΟΛΗ ΤΗΣ ΑΡΧΑΙΟΛΟΓΙΚΗΣ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑΣ
Οι πρώτες αρχαιότητες στη θέση εντοπίστηκαν με έρευνα που διενήργησε με δαπάνη της Αρχαιολογικής Εταιρείας στην ευρύτερη περιοχή των Φαρών ο τότε έφορος Αρχαιοτήτων Νικόλαος Κυπαρίσσης. Αναφέρεται η ύπαρξη μυκηναϊκού νεκροταφείου, ίσως της ΥΕ ΙΙΙ περιόδου, στην κορυφή και τις πλαγιές των λόφων γύρω από το χωριό. Περισσότερες πληροφορίες για τους μυκηναϊκούς τάφους δεν παραδίδονται.
Ακόλουθες ανασκαφές της ΣΤ΄ Εφορείας Αρχαιοτήτων στο Σταροχώρι δεν πρεσέθεσαν πληροφορίες για τα κατάλοιπα της μυκηναϊκής εποχής, πιστοποίησαν όμως την εντατική χρήση της περιοχής του Σταροχωρίου ήδη από την Πρώιμη Εποχή του Χαλκού και έως την ύστερη αρχαιότητα.
Βρέθηκαν σημαντικές ποσότητες πρωτοελλαδικής κεραμεικής, ενίοτε σε σχέση με οικοδομικά κατάλοιπα. Σημαντικά ίχνη μεσοελλαδικής εγκατάστασης, που συμπεριλαμβάνουν και κυκλοτερές μικρό κτίσμα, ανιχνεύθηκαν σε λόφο κοντά στον Πείρο ποταμό που φέρει την ονομασία «Ξηρόκαμπος». Μεσοελλαδική κεραμεική, μαζί με πρωτοελλαδική, απέδωσε και η στρωματογραφική έρευνα που διενεργήθηκε σε τύμβο σε άλλη θέση της περιοχής (Άι-Γιάννης). Ανασκαφές στην περιοχή του Σταροχωρίου έφεραν στο φως και ταφικό πίθο της υστερογεωμετρικής Εποχής.
