Laureato in Scienze Biologiche nel 2014 presso l'Università degli Studi di Palermo con il massimo dei voti (110/110 con lode), successivamente ho conseguito nel 2017 la Laurea Magistrale in Biologia della Salute presso l’Università di Bologna con il massimo dei voti (110/110 con lode).
In corso di Laurea Magistrale ho svolto un tirocinio curriculare di 2 anni presso l'azienda Ospedaliera Sant’Orsola di Bologna, in particolare nel reparto di Malattie del Metabolismo e dietetica clinica, che frequento anche attualmente tenendo periodicamente delle lezioni mirate ad educare al corretto stile di vita pazienti Grandi Obesi con patologie metaboliche collaterali (Ipercolesterolemia, Ipertrigliceridemia, Iperuricemia, Diabete tipo I e II, Insufficienza renale nei diversi stadi, ect ect). I continui confronti con i colleghi e il direttore Prof. Marchesini sono una costante nel percorso di aggiornamento che ho modo di affrontare quotidianamente al fine di migliorare sempre più il servizio assistenziale che offro soprattutto in termini di prevenzione primaria.
Importantissima ed ancora viva è la collaborazione col reparto di malattie del fegato del Policlinico Sant’Orsola di Bologna, il cui primario è il Prof. Andreone, che mi da la possibilità di aprire culturalmente e nella pratica quotidiana il servizio assistenziale anche a soggetti con Steatosi epatica, NASH, Fibrosi e Cirrosi.
Ho maturato, successivamente alla laurea magistrale, il Diploma in “Nutrizione Umana e Dietoterapia” nel 2018 presso l’azienda Nutrimedifor di Milano e successivamente ho partecipato ad altri corsi di perfezionamento in Body Composition, Well-Aging Nutrition e Sport Nutrition che mi hanno permesso di aprire il servizio assistenziale anche a Sportivi di Endurance e non solo.
Seguo periodicamente corsi di aggiornamento sia in ambito di nutrizione clinica patologica che di nutrizione Sportiva per offrire soluzioni d'avanguardia secondo i più recenti dati in letteratura scientifica.
Eseguo consulenze alimentari, analisi e studio della composizione corporea attraverso strumentazione BIA 101 Anniversary (sia segmentale che totale), attento esame plicometrico (fino a 10-12 punti di repere) per la valutazione del grasso sottocutaneo, analisi del Somatotipo (per valutare la la sensibilità a certi macronutrienti e la predisposizione a praticare un’attività fisica dove potere eccellere), elaborazione di piani nutrizionali personalizzati per pazienti di ogni età, in condizioni fisiologiche e patologiche accertate (diabete, problemi della tiroide, problemi dell'apparato gastro intestinale, gonfiore addominale, steatosi epatica, gotta, etc...), piani alimentari per bambini, donne in gravidanza, allattamento, menopausa, vegetariani e vegani, per pazienti affetti da allergie ed intolleranze alimentari, piani alimentari per sportivi amatoriali, dilettanti e professionisti.
