The HRSMC is a collaboration between top research groups of four Dutch Universities: the University of Amsterdam (UvA), the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), Leiden University (UL) and the Radboud University (RU). The HRSMC harbours a powerhouse of expertise in Synthetic, Physical, and Theoretical Chemistry as well as Spectroscopy and Molecular Physics. This multidisciplinary character makes the School unique in the Netherlands and abroad. It allows it to operate in a broad field that addresses fundamental scientific problems and also challenges society currently faces in areas like sustainability, energy and health.
