July 10, 2025 Alvaro Fernández Reports the 1/8 Onroad Spanish Nationals 2025!!! On the last weekend of June we had the 3rd round of National Championship 1/8 On Road at Vigo here in Galicia. This is a very special track for me, not really my hometrack but as if it were! A very beautiful one in front of the sea and where I have beautiful memories and this race it is sure my big moment there because it is the second Spanish Championship for me! This season started really nice with two wins in the first race at Valladolid and then at the second one at Getafe, Madrid. So, we had the possibility to win the championship here at home as our Spanish Championship consist in 4 Races counting 3 results. We planned the race as a one more trying to race as always and not thinking in the possibility of the National Title (not easy to be honest...). We arrived on Friday and free practice was good but we was not fast as we wanted. Nacho López and Victor Pelaez was on the podium also in the two previous races and was really fast too. The drag assisted one-way for the Serpent 750 is a very nice option. Replacing the normal front diff, it enables you to still brake and turn in like a diff but the exit drive and change of direction on-throttle is much better. It is important though to adjust the oil viscosity according to the available grip level.
