WHISC - Women in the Holocaust - International Study Center
WHISC - is a pioneer, comprehensive, International Study Center that focuses on the topic of Women in the Holocaust, whether victims, victimizers, or survivors. Our vision is to widen the interdisciplinary, intersectional, and multicultural research that can be found in Holocaust Studies one hand and Gender Studies on the other hand, focusing solely on the unique fate of Women during the Holocaust. Our activities challenge various scholarly levels: research workshops with scheduled meetings for Israeli and world-wide researchers and educators, academic conferences, fellowships, and database management.
