The VIT student handbook has been created to help all new students to VIT settle into the VIT community by providing them with a catalogue of information about various aspects of college and student life.Our initial vision was to disseminate all the information through the print medium, however after facing a lot of difficulties we resorted to the power of the internet to help us reach out to students. The food inside (mess) and outside, campus, hostels, facilities and amenities, FFCS (fully flexible credit system), timetables, clubs, chapters and other student bodies, a VIT map created ourselves we have tried to cover every little aspect of student life. Service centre numbers of companies in vellore, functional tamil, shopping, travel, movies, games and fun, everything a student needs is there.
