Once upon a time a fledging lawyer met a fledging architect. Both eventually became renowned in their fields, but in the early years neither had much money. The lawyer had found a magnificent view parcel overlooking permanently designated open space. In exchange for a portion of the parcel, the architect, Donald Sandy, designed 18 Dominican Dr, a house that won accolades and came to be featured in a national magazine. To help keep expenses down, the lawyer dug trenches, got up his courage to stain the beams at the entry to the house, some 40 feet in the air. Today, 54 years after its completion, 18 Dominican Dr is on the market for the first time. Welcome to this very special 3BD/2.5BA, 2417 sq ft, one-family home on a generous 23,460 sq ft lot.
