​Laila Al-Harthy is a Published Freelance, Fashion, Portrait, Beauty Make-up Artist and Hair Stylist. Working in Manila, Philippines, Laila started working and practicing on herself when she soon realized of taking her journey in a career as a professional make-up artist four years ago. Laila has no formal schooling in any make-up artistry school but she gained her experience by practicing on herself and learning from various artists in the industry. She focused on skin correcting and particularly good in working on colored skin. She has a heart for teaching women how to apply make-up and how to gain a greater understanding of how they can enhance their total personality. For that reason, she started blogging since 2012 as a medium in reaching her adherents and engaged in doing personal workshops for aspiring artists or women who want to learn to do makeup on themselves. Laila has worked on a variety of different artistry styles whether commercial, print, editorial, high fashion beauty, and Avante Garde. She has perfected color correcting on the skin that even with traditional make-up technique applied the make-up looks flawless and au natural. Laila worked with Pulp Magazine with over five publications working with female artists like Francine Prieto, singer and writer Kitchie Nadal, famous band Moonstar88, singer Julz from Save Me Hollywood Band, and International band from Australia Tonight Alive. She worked with several independent young and upcoming designers of clothing line brands and recently worked with Preview Magazine with her work featured in August 2014, December 2014, January 2015 Issues. She also worked as a Head Hair and Make-up Artist in Bigfoot Entertainment Studios show Design Genuis (Season 2) which aired internationally last December 2014.
