Description:Recently I've been conducting an introduction to Google Analytics class at General Assembly Hong Kong (and also some internal workshop with my colleagues). I am very lucky to see quite a lot of different people joining and even more happy to see they are all so attentive and asking serious questions. So in this post I want to share some of the good questions that the participants asked during sessions and my answer to them. Question 1: What's the difference between Google Analytics and Google Analytics premium (paid version)? One of the major difference is - basic version sampled your data; premium version allows you to access unsampled data. So what's sampled v.s. unsampled data? Usually you will see a TV broadcaster say: 2M people watch our program last night - do you believe the TV broadcaster actually called every single person in town and asked them: "did you watch the programme last night?".
