Verwenden und wegwerfen war gestern – der Holzhalm besticht durch seine Langlebigkeit. Nach Gebrauch mit der beiliegenden Bürste von innen reinigen oder einfach unkompliziert mit in die Spülmaschine. Weil es aus einem nachwachsenden, gesunden Rohstoff gefertigt ist. Schluss mit Plastik! Wir können das genauso gut mit Holz. Unser Trinkhalm besteht aus einem einzigen Rohstoff: Buchenholz. Und dieser Rohstoff wächst stetig nach. Unser Holz kommt ausschließlich aus nachhaltig bewirtschafteten deutschen Wäldern. In einem familienbetriebenen Sägewerk in Bichtlingen bei Messkirch wird das Holz gesägt und technisch getrocknet. Anschließend produzieren wir vom Buchenbrett bis zum fertigen Holzhalm komplett in unserer Werkstatt in Pfullendorf. Unsere Produktion haben wir auf Nachhaltigkeit ausgelegt: Mit Holzresten heizen wir unser Betriebsgebäude. Auf dem Dach erzeugt eine Photovoltaikanlage den nötigen Strom. Bei der Herstellung geht jeder einzelne Halm durch unsere Hände. Dann werden die Halme ohne Umwege an dich versendet. So bleiben die Transportwege kurz und der CO2-Ausstoß gering.
