And in con­tra­ry to a cer­tain well-known en­tre­pre­neur, I “put my mo­ney where my mouth was” and applied these rules to all the battery-po­we­red de­vi­ces that I owned. As a result, my 17-year old note­book still runs over 2 hours on a full charge with its fac­tory-ori­gi­nal battery. But the story keeps on getting better. Recently, I have been able to actu­ally re­co­ver a bit of lost battery ca­pa­city. Once again, all I did was just follo­wing the rules I had pre­sen­ted in my article.
