Description:مدیریت سود عملی آگاهانه برای نشان دادن سود بیشتر یا سود کمتر از میزان واقعی است، به مورد اول، مدیریت سود رو به بالا و به مورد دوم، مدیریت سود رو به پایین گفته میشود. معمولاً مدیریت سود رو به بالا برای نشان دادن سودهای پیشبینیشده از قبل در شرکتهایی که مالکیت و مدیریت جدا و مستقل از هم هستند، انجام میگیرد. اما مدیریت سود رو به پایین معمولاً اهداف مالیات گریزی دارند. با کم نشان دادن سود واقعی مالیات نهایی مورد مطالبه دولتها کمتر شده و از این طریق منافعی عاید مالکان میشود. در این پژوهش، به دنبال پاسخ به این پرسش بودهایم که آیا این مدیریت سود میتواند نتایج منفی بر بهرهوری سرمایهگذاری داشته باشد؟ سه فرضیه در این راستا پاسخ داده شد. نتایج نشان داد که در کل، مدیریت سود در میان شرکتهای منتخب پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران محدود است و بیشتر برای نشان دادن مدیریت سود رو به بالاست (بیش از 88 درصد). همچنین، مدیریت سود رو به بالا، تأثیر منفی بر بهرهوری سرمایهگذاری بلند مدت این شرکتها ندارد ولی با یکدیگر همبستگی غیرمستقیم و معنادار دارند. به این معنا که، در شرکتهایی که مدیریت سود رو به بالا دارند، بهرهوری سرمایهگذاری بلندمدت کمتر است.
