Our club keeps members informed through our quarterly email newsletters, our Facebook page, and monthly club meetings (currently held at Mimi’s Cafe at Desert Ridge Marketplace). Latest News May 8th, 2025. Two members of SCTC achieve top spots at the Fiesta Dog Shows by Scottsdale Dog Fancier Association held the first weekend in May 2025. Good Sportsmanship was on full display. Ramona Benson, Jo Miller, Betsy Dossett and Denise Hasty, all members of SCTC, exhibiting at Fiesta Dog Show on Friday, May 2nd, 2025 in the Owner-Handled Group, judged by our board member Kathi Elliot. May 4th, 2025. In early February, Cisco (Canadian GrChB Amblegreen Paradym All or Nothing) made an impressive debut at his first U.S. dog show, held at the Phoenix circuit (Lost Dutchman Kennel Club). Owned by Heather Tomlin and Cyndy Monk, he secured two prestigious five-point major wins. Notably, Cisco took the Breed title under the discerning eye of Judge Wood Wornall, marking a significant milestone in his show career. April 2nd, 2025. As we bid farewell to one of our cherished board and club member, Nancy and Dwain, we are filled with a mix of sadness and joy. They are embarking on the adventure of a lifetime, pursuing their retirement dream of sailing the seas on their beloved boat. While their departure leaves a void, we are deeply grateful for the invaluable service and unwavering commitment they have shown to SCTC and the dog show world in large over the years. Their dedication has been a cornerstone of our community, and their absence will certainly be felt. However, we look forward to the day when they might return to share tales of their voyages and once again be part of our vibrant group showing their Norwich Terriers. Until then, we wish them fair winds and following seas, and we remain thankful for the lasting impact they have made on our club.
